Too many great lines to mention--suffice it to say the banter was wonderful! I find it interesting that Heyes can always rope Kid into doing something he doesn't initially want to do. I really enjoyed seeing the ladies--human and animal--coming out ahead. Great story!

Great story, Calico, and super fun! Only you could write a story about ASJ and ostriches (shaking head in disbelieve that you were able to make a connection). Lots of great lines! Love the names of the birds!

A proper western with a drive and Indians and all! Thoroughly enjoyed this - good characterisations and an attention grabbing storyline. Just enough peril to get us worried though we know the boys are gonna be OK in the end! Good job! X

Interesting choice of actor to play Cory! I really liked the focus on the family dynamic as well as all the action and drama in this story. And it was very visual as well--I could easily see all the scenes unfolding. Well done!

Nice mix of h/c (I love Kid h/c), drama and humor at the end. Using "The Biggest Game in the West" as a inspiration was unique. Loved the reason Wheat was upset, very much in character! Nicely written, I'm glad you finally posted this story.

A little Kid Curry h/c is always welcome!. Thanks for the story. I "liked" that the antagonist was motivated by a perceived past wrong and not just for the reward and that KC wondered about the why at the end. Heyes advice back was also apt, that's all they can really do.
